Apple’s product launch event on Monday went well as expected with a new product being introduced.
First, we got the all-new third-gen AirPods TWS earbuds, new M-series MacBook Pro computers, and new color options for the HomePod Mini smart speaker.
Apple also did a nice thing which was cutting the price of its Music streaming service as well as offering a US$5/month “Voice” subscription; incorporation of its Music service built to work with its Siri virtual assistant system.

AirPods 3
The first to be introduced – entry-level TWS earbuds which sit between the AirPods and the AirPods Pro.

The newly announced AirPods 3 looked quite similar to the AirPods Pro but without the silicone ear tips and of course, no active noise cancellation (ANC).
The redesign of the AirPods 3 according to Apple will be perfect for all ears and it has a smart feature that changes based on what the device believes your ears are hearing.
The new AirPods offer six hours of listening time and up to 30 hours total after four recharges from their carrying case, which comes with wireless charging for US$179.

MacBook Pro
The MacBook Pros comes in two variants – 14-inch and 16-inch both of which are now being powered by Apple Silicon SoC.
The M1 Pro is being used on the 14-inch MacBook while the bigger 16-inch MacBook Pro features the M1 Max chipset.
Also, Apple made some design revamping on the 2021 MacBook Pros such as the return of an HDMI 2.0 port, inclusion of three Thunderbolt 4 ports, an SD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and most importantly, a new MagSafe 3 Power connector.
The base price for the 14-inch MacBook Pro starts at US$1,999 while the bigger 16-inch MacBook Pro has a price tag of about US$2,499.

HomePod Mini
While not so much has changed about the HomePod Mini, one thing is that Apple has made them into multiple colors. The base price of the HomePod Mini starts at US$99 and comes in different color options such as Blue, Yellow, and Orange instead of just the Space gray and White colors.

Apple Music ‘Voice’
Apple is also trying to enhance the experience of the users of its Music streaming service by offering the Apple Music Voice – a US$5/month service that is designed exclusively for Siri.
It’s sort of an Apple Music service just for Siri. The company also added “hundreds’ of new mood and activity playlists which can help the service compete with other big brands such as Amazon and Spotify.
