It’s a great news for software developers as Apple releases a new Xcode 11.4 Beta which is available to developers to experiment. With Apple releasing the latest iOS 13.4, MacOS 10.15.4 and tvOS 13.5 betas the new “Deploy everywhere, buy once” support is now enabled right within the system.

The new implementation will get fully activated by March whereby App Developers can now sell apps for multiple platforms all in one sì gle bundle. In a comment, Apple made it known that this new practise will he implemented and enforced by March which means app developers will have to get this activated within their applications in order to support the new system.
Starting in March 2020, you’ll be able to distribute iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and tvOS versions of your app as a universal purchase, allowing customers to enjoy your app and in‑app purchases across platforms by purchasing only once. You can choose to create a new app for these platforms using a single app record in App Store Connect or add platforms to your existing app record. Get started by building and testing your apps using a single bundle ID with Xcode 11.4 beta.

This will be a good news for both developers and consumers alike because this will allow for the benefit of being able to buy an app purchase once and then get to use it everywhere the app is present within the Apple’s products ecosystem.

The feature will automatically be enabled for all apps built using Xcode 11.4 that use Catalyst with all apps using the same bundle identifier as a means of linking them together.
So instead of having to separately buy application for different platforms such as TvOS or MacOS or iOS or IPadOS, you can just buy that app once and then be able to access it anywhere it’s present within the ecosystem. Sounds intuitive
