There are a set of features coming to the next-gen WatchOS 7.4 and among them is the ability to unlock your iPhone without needing to take off your face mask and also there will be compatibility with Apple’s new Fitness Plus workout service however, the tech giant hasn’t revealed the official launch date for its arrays of software updates even though the current public beta of the WatchOS 7.4 gives a better insights to all the new features we can expect on the Apple Watch in a matter of weeks.
Can Unlock with Apple Watch
The fact that Apple Watches will be able to unlock iPhones have been circulating all over the internet and this might just be turning to a reality as suggestions has it that the latest WatchOS 7.4 paired with the upgraded iOS 14.5 will allow users to opt for a feature on their iPhone with which they can be able to authenticate Face ID even when the face is covered.

Can Cast Fitness Plus on Airplay 2 devices
For those who own Apple Watches and are subscribers of the Apple Fitness Plus digital workout service, they can now cast the Apple Watch workout service on any device or TV with the new AirPlay 2.
Although the initial availability of the service was restricted to the iOS and iPadOS as well as newer versions of the Apple TV but that is changing now. The new update will also bring more workout exercise for subscribers.
You’ll still need to select a workout in the Fitness Plus app on your iPhone or iPad. Then either press the casting icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen or select screen mirroring in the quick settings section to cast to a device.
The Apple Watch will get many of the same features found in iOS 14.5, including the 217 new emoji and the option to change your default music. Apple also released updates for iPadOS and TVOS.
