Huami’s Amazfit is planning to release an upgraded version of it’s smartwatch later on the 27th of August which is in few days to come. As of now, little is known about the Amafit Smart Sports Watch 3 but a reliable source has it that the smartwatch will be the successor of the Amazfit Stratos which was launched in 2017. And if you think about the fact that the Amazfit Stratos Pace was the successor of the first-gen Amazfit Smart Sports Watch.
The Vice president of the company, Qi Fandi has hinted that the smartwatch will simply be named Amazfit Sports Watch 3 without the “smart” attribute considering the fact that majority of smartwatches already have “Smart” in them which will shorten the name of the device a little bit at least.
There is also going to be two versions of the Sport Watch 3 which are Standard Version as well as an Elite Version which will have more design features and craftsmanship and quality. The body of the Amazfit Sports Watch 3 Elite Edition will be made using a Tic4 titanium allow with a more performance that would make the technology more interesting for premium users. The watch also has a glass screen made from high-hardness and wear-resistant sapphire crystal. Recall that the Amazfit GTR 47mm also has a Titanium Edition.

There were leaks that the Amazfit Sports Watch 3 would have about 1.34 inch reflective full-circle screen that is cost-effectively customized. The display is supplied by Japan Display Inc. (JDI) which is also the supplier of displays for the Apple Watch models. The watch is also revealed to have NFC meaning it will likely support contactless payment.

Huami Amazfit is actually growing and the company is disrupting the industry making powerful smartwatches that makes lots of sense. The company falls behind the likes of the Apple Watch and the Huawei GT Smartwatch making it one of the top smartwatch makers in the world.
