The latest story of Ray-Ban and Meta’s partnership to bring AR to everyone has it that their recent product called the Ray-Ban Stories has now added a number of interesting features to the smart glasses.
Users will be able to do a number of things after installing a software update and those include an inbuilt assistant to send texts, make voice calls, and even read messages via Messenger.y
Apart from being able to send messages and reach your contacts easily, you can now play media files thanks to new features included like pause, skip, and resuming a track. You’ll also be able to adjust the volume or request the battery life update of the device.
For those unaware, Meta is the new brand identity that Facebook is using with the aim of taking Augmented and virtual reality much more seriously.

The partnership with Ray-Ban was announced much earlier this year and the Stories glasses included some questionable hardware specifications which Mark Zuckerberg, Meta’s boss assured to be safe without any privacy compromise.
As for the software update, Meta gave the assurance that the update will be available for everyone in a matter of time.
So if you own Ray-Ban Stories glasses, you need to first install the latest firmware on the device before you’ll be able to download the new update.
The new features that have been added to the Meta Ray-Ban Stories will not be the last.
Meta says several other features are also lined up for incorporation into the Ray-Ban Stories and these could come as early as 2022.
