A number of companies are now going into the smart AR glasses market and Huawei is certainly one of them.
The company is said to be planning to release a number of interesting products later this month among which is its first true smart glasses or Huawei Smart Glass.
The device will be powered by Huawei’s proprietary cross-platform software, HarmonyOS and it’s expected to further the Chinese tech giant’s AR game on the market.
According to reports, the company is said to be calling the device “your next smart personal assistant”.

A teaser video shared by the company showed that the Smart Glass feature swappable lenses as well as speakers located at each arm of the glasses.
Speaking of how many companies have now joined the smart glasses competition, we have the likes of Apple rumored to be planning its own AR Glass in the next coming years, Facebook’s parent company, Meta partnered with Ray-Ban, Oppo also announced its Air Glass recently.
The glass features futuristic styling with a single lens design and weighs less than 30 grams. The Air Glass is also designed to snap onto custom frames offered by OPPO using magnetic components housed inside the Air Glass frame.

The Huawei Smart Glass will be manufactured entirely by the Chinese giant without any collaboration with third-party eyewear makers compared to a previous partnership with Gentle Monster.
