HMD Global had released the Android 10 update for the Nokia 7.2 smartphone after missing on the list during the initial release of the operating system’s upgrade on other Nokia devices.
However, the new update schedule released a few weeks ago now includes the device as well as the Nokia 6.2. The release is being released as scheduled to be released by the end of the first quarter of the year 2020.
Sticking to its promise of an end of the first quarter of this year, the manufacturer has now released the Android 10 update for the Nokia 7.2.
The new upgrade brings more interesting features to the device which includes a new navigation system, a system-wide dark mode, smart replies functionality, new emojis and lots more.

The changelog for the update, which comes in at 1.57GB in size, is below:
- Dark Mode – take it easy on your eyes
- Smart reply -Save more time with recommended actions
- Gesture navigation – Get around with a swipe and a pull
- Additional controls for privacy and location
- Google Security Patch (2020-03)
Nokia had been trying to retake it’s past glory by making really nice mid-range smartphones with really impressive features. The Nokia 7.2 was released back in September 2019 and has interesting features which includes the 6.3-Inch FHD+ display.
It’s powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor inside along with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. A dedicated MicroSD card slot is available for extra storage.
Other interesting specifications of the device includes it triple rear camera setup which consists of a 48MP + 8MP + 5M sensors which altogether produce really crisp image qualities. The device’s front facing selfie camera is a big 20MP sensor and has a rear fingerprint scanner.
Powering it up is a good 3500mAh battery which can fast charge at a 10W speed. Other hardware components the Nokia 7.2 has includes the NFC and it has FM Radio receivers.
