Qualcomm, the company that powers most of your smartphones has introduced a new set of entry-level chipsets which are meant for mid-range smartphones. The chipset includes the Snapdragon 720G, 662 and 460.
Each of these chipsets offer different levelof capacity at various levels. But the Snapdragon 720G seems to be the most powerful as it offers supports for some high-end games as it features 765G which supports HDR and Dynamic Color Range as well as High Quality synchronized sound with Qualcomm aptX Adaptive.
The less stronger one, the SD662 will offer support for triple-camera based smartphones which will be the first time for the Snapdragon 6-Series of chipsets. But the world has moved beyond a single camera sensor these days hence, Qualcomm had to take the challenge by offering a chipset powerful enough to accommodate these changes and developments.
But the smaller SD460 will be the lower-end and mostly the affordable one of the three chipsets announced. Despite being an entry-level based chipset, it offers an increase in both CPU and GPU performances right over other Snapdragon 4-Series chipsets.
