While other sporting and entertainment events might have shut down or paused for the time being, the WrestleMania this weekend will still continue and will be offering the most interesting experience you ever seen this year.
While the event was initially scheduled to take place right at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, the event will happen at the WWE Performance Center training facility where there will be no Fans….YEAH!
WrestleMania 36 will also take place over two nights (Saturday and Sunday) instead of the usual one-night spectacular.
While we can’t fathom what the experience will be like considering being a close-door competition, it was even met with lots of criticism from pundits as to why the event is still being scheduled to take place despite the huge health risk this might pose on the athletes.
With health organizations clamoring on the fact that people should stay indoor and should socially distant from one another, we honestly think this might not be a great idea after all. But as you all know, this is an entertainment and majority of the WrestleMania 36 events are said to have been already been recorded so you might just have to relax and watch as the show unfolds.
Whether that’ll be possible, with no crowd for the wrestlers to perform to, is another question I mean we all know the impact of the large crowd and interesting noise and commentary which is part of what makes the WrestleMania events super interesting.
The top of the match will be Brock Lesnar defending his WWE championship rigt up against Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre which would be an interesting match if you consider the prowess and the kind of entertainment these two guys can perform.
Aside that, John Cena is also expected to face Bray Wyatt while The Undertaker will face AJ Styles in a WrestleMania match. Another interesting competition would’ve been that of Roman Reigns competing right up against Goldberg for the Universal Championship even but then pulled out so it’s a title defense right against Braun Strowman.
Perhaps the wildest element of this WrestleMania is that Roman Reigns was scheduled to face Goldberg for the Universal Championship, but pulled out of this championship match. Instead, the WCW legend will defend his title against Braun Strowman.
When will the WrestleMania 36 start?
The event is expected to take place right in Orlando where the Performance Center is situated. The date is Saturday, April 4 (Yesterday) through to Sunday 5th at 7 PM ET (4PM PT)
