We’re already preparing for the next big thing from Samsung and that’s Galaxy S20 series which are being rumored to come in three models namely the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus and S20 Ultra.

Recently, the trio have taken turns in running Geekbench 5.1 which further shed more light about what to expect from the high end smartphone when it finally gets unveiled this new month.

Samsung wwill be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset for its US and Korean models while the Samsung’s own Exynos 9830 will likely be used for the European versions of thr Galaxy S20 series.

The ttrio smartphone comes packed with a 12GB of RAM and the benchmark score for the three devices are somewhat the same and matches up with other up with other high end smartphones that will be using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset along the line this year.

More of the information revealed about the Galaxy S20 trio includes their model numbers which are SM-G981 (Galaxy S20), SM-G986 (Galaxy S20+) and SM-G988 (Galaxy S20 Ultra). Not a bad naming though.

An “N” denotes a South Korean H while “U” stands for US model. We couldn’t find results from “F” models, however, those are usually the ones that land in Europe.

One other interesting thing to note about the model numbering is that the higher the number goes the higher the device’s specification becomes as we’ve seen on the older Galaxy S10 for example whereby the Galaxy S10e was G970 whole the Galaxy S10+ was G975..

The devices could all be 5G capable or AG least with the case of the higher Galaxy S20 Ultra, its likely going to support 5G network. Meanwhile the other first two, the Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus would have LTE versions just for regions that haven’t rolled out the 5G network just yet. But more information will be available to be posted in the near future before the devices are unveiled officially.
