This is a really quick highlight. Louis Vuitton presented to us in 2017 a stunning $3,000 worth Android Wear 2.0 (Wear OS) smartwatch and many of us fell in love/hate with the smart wear device.

Just last year 2018, the company had announced an upgrade to the device which they call the Tambour Horizon. It premiered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 but now it will be getting a shoot up to the Wear 3100 for this year (2019) versions which will enhance and include couple of features.

According to a report from Engadget, there will be a 24 hours progress ring which will be visible in ambient mode and a higher definition circular display.

The manufacturer claims that the battery can work for a whole full day if being used actively while it can work for another 5 days if used in the ambient mode which will just feature lower features and use lesser battery powers.

Although BrumPost never got any of the Tambour Horizon device so we can’t really say how long it would last and whether the claims by Louis Vuitton are true or just marketing their products.

While the actual price isn’t yet known to us, PocketNow reports the pricing could start at $2,500 which would be a bit of a cut for the $3K version.

Louis Vuitton is a luxury designer company. So the fact that a mere Android wristwatch is more expensive than the iPhone XS Max or the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 might make sense to those that can afford the luxury of wearing a white ceramics built luxury wrist watch.
