Apple released the iPad Pro model for the year 2020 with great features and specifications but the device is obviously pricey and will be sold online only. One important accessory Apple decided to also sell with the device is the Magic Keyboard which has the newly supported trackpad as well as mouse support to it.
While it comes in two sizes for the 11-Inch and 12.9-inch models of the iPad Pro, the base price for which the device is being sold is $279 USD to as high as $349 USD respectively and might make you wonder if there is an alternative for this.
LogiTech introduced the new hardware which support this great feature. The keyboard support the new iPadOS 13.4 capabilities which includes the Trackpad and Mouse support.
While we wait for the actual release of both the iOS 13.4 and the iPadOS 13.4, the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard with Trackpad is already appearing on the official Apple Store which is really interesting.

Even a model for the iPad Air is also listed because the iPadOS 13.4’s Trackpad support doesn’t only work for the 2020 iPad Pro but also other iPads including the cheaper iPads of the $300 price-mark.
The base price of the LogiTech casing will be sold for $149 USD though there currently isn’t any shipping information or the availability of the device.
The iPad cover case now feature the interesting trackpad system as well as backlits for the keys which auto turns the device into a really nice laptop and even the price point is a big match to that. There are four different modes optimized for different usage types on the new LogiTech iPad keyboard which includes the following…
- An integrated trackpad with Multi-Touch gesture support lets you navigate iPad quickly
- Well-spaced backlit keys and familiar layout for comfortable typing — day or night
- Full row of iPadOS shortcut keys for one-tap access to the Home screen, Siri, Search, media controls, and more
- Kick-back stand with 50-degree tilt
- Four use modes optimized for typing, viewing, reading, and sketching
- Protective case helps safeguard both sides of iPad from bumps, scratches, and spills
- Home for Apple Pencil (1st generation) or Logitech Crayon
It’s lightweight and slim in design when folded and when opened, it opens across as a full keyboard to perform quick tasks and typing. There is also a space for the LogiTech Crayon or Apple Pencil depending on which one you currently own.
The LogiTech keyboard has no need of battery as it uses a Smart Connector which makes use of the iPad’s power.
Nothing yet is known about the delivery and pickup of this new Logitech product but as soon as it is made available you can pick it up for just $1439.00 to take advantage of iPadOS 13.4.
There is also the Slim Folio Pro Case which LogiTech also launched as a carry case for the 12.9-inch or 11-inch 2020 iPad Pro priced at $129.95 and 11.9.95 respectively.
