Rumors about the release of the iPhone 9 or say iPhone SE2 had been swirling throughout the internet for some times now and we even spoke about it in the past.
This device is supposed to take over from the iPhone 8 series which was jumped to the iPhone X back in 2017 while the affordable iPhone SE was just left behind in the year 2016. But that might be changing now as the rumor is becoming more realistic.
A new report has it that the iPhone 9 might be launched just this coming Sunday, April 5th based on merchandising date for a case that got to Best Buy.
The casing is the Urban Armor Gear protective case which states it’s being designed for the new iPhone 4.7 2020 with the exact name yet unknown to us. The size as you can tell is very similar to the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 8.
Just this past week did Apple introduced the two 2020 iPad Pro tablets as well as the Macbook Air and considering the fact that the iPhone 9 isn’t a flagship, the release might not really be noisy as what we’d expect by the summer when the iPhone 12 is getting released.
The device is expected to bridge the gap between the expensive iPhone devices and the good old mid-range iPhones. The device is expected to also have a quite larger variant with a 5.5-inch display and will most likely feature the iPhone 8 A13 Bionic chipset, 3GB of RAM, 64/128GB of internal storage with a single rear camera. The base price for the smaller 4.7-inch model is expected to be $400.
