We’re still obviously months away from the actual release of the Apple’s flagship, the iPhone 12 series (at least what we think it might be called) but as usual, multiple leaks have been surfacing through the web showing renders about what we should expect from the official release of the device later by September.
While that might sound somehow optimistic, that’s because a channel dedicated to Apple stuffs, EverythingApplePro did share a 3D render which is thought of to be based on the Apple iPhone 12 Max design schematics.

Much earlier rumors has it the iPhone 12 series of smartphones will come in the design of the iPad pro which is a edgy design rather than the rounded chassis seen on the previous iPhones. And the device is said to also be thinner than the current iPhone 11 Pro Mac by half a millimeter. If this render is true, that means Apple isn’t ready to do away with the notch at least not anytime soon as the device includes a small notch at the center of the device which made it retain the Face ID technology.
The device is also tipped to feature a massive 6.7-inch display which will be the largest iPhone to be ever made as the current position is held by both the iPhone 11 Pro Max and the previous iPhone XS Max whose displays are 6.5-inch. So with the increase of the display comes a much more smaller bezels which will make the device fell more like a screen while squeezing the large display into a small body chassis.

As for the back of the device, there is the LiDAR Scanner which is placed right within the camera bump which never changed from the previous generation. This came with the newly released iPad Pro which was announced just this previous month. But it’s obvious that nothing much will really change in terms of the design with Apple just probably going to make few tweaks and additions to the hardware and software upgrade.
Apple marketed the previous iPhone 11 series using the camera design bumps which was placed on the official posters of the device and even the casing of the smartphone while the company had previously used the notched-display to market previous generations since the iPhone X which is basically because they always look the same with the company just changing camera placement or adding some few tweaks to the designs. So do not expect any massive design upgrade as you would see Android-based smartphone makers do every year.
