The rumor about Apple entering into the VR and AR market could be real as time gets by with more leaks and reports surfacing online about what to expect when the device finally makes its debut. According to The Information which is the recent source of the information has it that the device could cost a mouth-watering US$3,000 and could include 8K capacity with a very powerful processor and improved camera systems and sensors.
There was also a render that showcased how the device could look with its straps designed in reminiscent o the Apple Watch strap. There is also a report that the device will have a texture network outside of it which will diminish its general weight.
Bloomberg had earlier reported on this in the past with suggestion pointing to the design of the strap looking like the Apple watch strap.
It’s suggested that the company will utilize its Apple Silicon processor which will offer an incredible support for 8K presentations on the headset.
The headset will utilize a strategy called “Foveated delivering”, where the headset will progressively scale goal dependent on where the client is zeroing in on the screen.
The implementation of LiDAR technology will be important in the development of the headset especially if it will be have an AR functionality. And as per report, Apple could deliver the VR headset as soon as 2022 but let’s hold on and see.
