As the year runs to an end, so are different smartphone companies releasing new devices right and left and Samsung is just one of them. The South Korean tech giant has recently announced a new Galaxy A12 powered by its Exynos 850 chipset in India.
The device was originally announced back in November 2020 with the Helio 35 chipset and then released to the Indian market by February however, the company has now released an updated variant that will run on its own Exynos 950 chipset.
It runs the current Android 11 OS out of the box with two storage options namely the version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage as well as the one with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
Previous specs of the Galaxy A12 when it debuted last year remain on the current model as well just the chipset being swapped out for another. With that, you get a big 6.5-inch LCD HD+ display with a big 5,000mAh battery and 15W fast charging capacity.
It has a USB-C port because it was released in 2020 and comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint reader. The back still has the quad-camera setup and a single LED flash.
