Affordable smartphone brand Tecno is reportedly planning the release of its next-gen Spark 8 Pro by Dec. 29th.

One of the key specs that’ll make the device stand out is its support for 33W blazing-fast charging that can charge up the device’s battery from 0% to 85% in just one hour.

The base model – Tecno Spark 8 was unveiled as far back as August 2021 but the Chinese OEM will now be making a high-end variant for the device.

The news was posted by the company’s India official handle with the above poster. The improved charging prowess dwarfs the base model with a disappointing 10W standard charging.

Apart from the charging upgrade, there isn’t much information known about the device just yet but it’s likely that Tecno will make use of an LCD panel for the device’s display as well as merge the fingerprint scanner with the side-mounted power button.

Based on the product’s poster, the device will likely sport a hole-punch centered camera cut-out with the device coming in different color options.
