Vivo is working on the second generation of its foldable smartphone which will reportedly be called the X Fold+.
The device is set to be unveiled on Sept. 26th and the company has already released a promotion poster that further confirms the event.
In the recently published poster, the X Fold Plus can be seen in a red color option (with faux leather cover) which is an addition to the current black and blue color options that were previously confirmed.
The new color is called Huaxia Red which the Chinese brand describes as “In our eyes, it is the spiritual background of Chinese civilization and the symbol of progress and development.”

The Vivo X Fold+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with 12GB of RAM as well as 512GB of storage.
The device is also expected to have a 4,730mAh battery with 80W blazing-fast wired charging .
Apart from the aforementioned specifications, there shouldn’t be anything different in terms of the hardware design of the device as well as the display size even though there might be a couple of upgrades here and there.
Also, we don’t know whether the device will be released outside of China or when it will be released outside of China.
And as for the price, judging from the previous model which was sold for about CNY9,000 or US$1,415, there shouldn’t be any significant price difference with the new smartphone but fingers crossed.
