As we’ve seen with the likes of Royoles FlexiPai, The new Samsung Galaxy F which is expected to be unveiled today by Samsung’s executives at it’s annual developer conference will change the smartphone market with a pretty foldable mobile device.
While there is certainly no clear photos of how the real device will look because we’ve been fed with countless concept images and creative suggestions all based on rumors and leaks. While the device is expected to act like the Royoles Flexipai which is a flipped smartphone like a book. It has a widescreen display that you can open and close. While no name is officially given yet, we think it might be called Samsung Galaxy F (F for Foldable…right?)
While Samsung probably won’t show any actual device at hand during the event, there should be displays of photographs and illustrations about the device with some detailed user interfaces so we can see how cool it is and what we should expect when it’s launched to the public.
The probable launch is expected to take place this Wednessday and Thursday (7th and 8th of Nov. 2018) at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California. The conference keynote where the phone will be revealed begins at 10 am Pacific (1 pm Eastern) and lasts for 90 minutes. You can watch the whole thing in the video player at the top of this page.

The precise time the device will be shipped to the consumers’ market is yet unknown though but we hope Samsung will explain their plans and future expectations on the device. The way the device will work might require creating some custom applications which the company’s developers will need to go and work very hard on.
While Samsung isn’t the only one doing this, there have been reports about Huawei, LG and even Royoles, there could be a spike in 2019 for the convertible or foldable smartphone. While this might be some real alien technology or however you think of it, creating a bending smartphone that can be expanded to become some sort of tablet might make us a bit more better or productive.
But then I ask what about tablets? This could become the demise of tablets eventually if this can become improved and used by everyone all around the globe. It means you can carry a smartphone that can in turn become a tablet.
