Samsung is definitely not giving up on the economic smartphone market with its Galaxy A series. The South Korean tech giant has now confirmed the starting price point of one of its devices, the Galaxy A03 which is expected to be available for purchase starting from next week.
The device in question was announced back in Nov. 2021 with a design tweak and enhanced specs to make it competitive.
According to a report, the base model Samsung Galaxy A03 is expected to be sold for US$130.
The device will be available for purchase in Vietnam starting from Jan. 10th and will come in two variants – 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Both models will be priced at US$131 (VND 2,990,000) and US$153 (VND 3,490,000) respectively. Color options vary from black, dark green, and red.
According to the same report, the device will be made available with an installment plan with zero percent interest, also without any upfront fee starting from Jan. 10th and Feb. 28th in Vietnam.
Anyone who buys the Galaxy A03 before Feb. 15th will get a voucher price of US$9 (VND 200,000) and will stand a chance of getting the Galaxy Fit 2 with the smartphone for only VND500,000 extra.
Assuming you’re making the purchase of the Galaxy Fit sans the voucher, you’ll have to pay between US$33 (VND 750,000) and US$42 (VND 950,000).
Samsung Galaxy A03 specs
But away from the price point, if you missed the specifications of the device, it will sport a 6.5-inch PLS IPS Infinity-U display with a 20:9 aspect ratio.
The selfie camera will be a 5MP sensor with a 48MP primary sensor coupled with a 2MP depth sensor at the back of the device.
Powering it will be a UNISOC T606 chipset with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM while the storage option will range between 32GB and 64GB depending on the RAM variant you pick.
There will in fact be a dedicated MicroSD card slot on the device and it will run Samsung’s One UI based on Android 11 out of the box with a 5,000mAh battery.
