Earlier on we announced the new Snapdragon 768G which has a new powerful 5G capability to it and the first device to run that chipset is the all new Redmi K30 5G Speed Edition and it’s priced at US$ 282 (CNÂ¥ 1,999) and so it’s packed up with everything you’d expect from an entry-level smartphone with high-powerful 5G band.
The new device’s processor is actually the current most powerful mid-range chipset from it’s manufacturer, Qualcomm and is an overclocked version of the SD765G which was announced last December. The new processor is built on a 7nm EUV process and is paired with 6G of RAM and 128GB of internal storage which is really fantastic.
The new Redmi k30 5G Speed Edition also has a big 6.67-inch display with 120Hz refresh rate as well as a dual hole-punch selfie camera with an aspect ratio of 20:9 while its sensor is a 64Megapixel shooter with wide angle lens, super macro sensor and a depth of field sensor and the front is a 20MP sensor along with another depth of field camera up front.

The device will be available in four colors, including Mint Ice Blue, which is a new color in the series, along with the original color variants that were available for the base Redmi K30 5G variants. Furthermore, it is powered by a large 4,500mAh battery that also supports up to 30W fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the device supports dual band 5G, NFC, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm headphone jack, an infrared remote control, Type-C port, and more. So for those interested, the device will go on sale on 14th May 2020 in China.
