Infinix has just dropped its new Hot 10S smartphone which is the company’s mid-range smartphone known for great features at a lower price point. The new release is expected to go on sale in India as soon as May 27th.
The new device sports a larger 6.82-inch display with HD+ resolution and 1640 x 720 pixels. It also has a waterdrop notch design on the display.
With an aspect ratio of 20.5:9 as well as a 90.6% screen-to-body ratio. The display comes with support for a 90Hz refresh rate, 440 nits of brightness and 180Hz touch sampling rate all which is pretty decent for a mid-range smartphone.
Powering up the new Infinix Hot 10S is the MediaTek Helio G85 chip with 4GB to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM while its storage capacity is up to 64GB but can be expanded using a microSD card of up to 256GB.

In the camera department, it features a triple setup with its primary sensor being a 48MP sensor with f/1.9 aperture and then a smaller 2MP depth sensor and an AI lens.
Quad LED system is meant to brighten low-light shots which is something Infinix is known for.
Up front, you get an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture with dual LED flash. When was the last time you saw a flash at the front of a smartphone – well, this are some of the perks when you use a mid-range device.
It operates on the current Android 11 update based on Infinix’s own skin called the XOS version 7.6.
Other hardware technology you get includes 4G LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/GLONASS, and Beidou. There is equally a 3.5mm jack onboard as well as FM radio of course.
As for the price point, the Infinix Hot 10S 4GB+64GB version is priced at Rs 9999 (~$137) and then high-end variant with 6GB+64GB version will go for Rs 10,999 (~$150).
Color option ranges from Morandi Green, 7° Purple, Heart of Ocean, and 95° Black colors. It will go on sale in India from May 27 12 noon on Flipkart. Buyers will receive an Rs. 500 discount across the board during the first sales.
