With the likes of Samsung, Google and Amazon making your home smarter, Huawei is also going to be entering the competitive market in a statement gotten from the company.
Although Huawei, one of the biggest smart mobile device manufacturer in China is looking to partner up with Amazon which will bring the Alexa Artificial Intelligence software into the Huawei smart speaker.
While this might not be anything special that we’ve seen in the past like the Amazon Echo for example, the Huawei smart speaker will be use a 4G LTE sim card which will make it a home Wi-Fi router unlike the Amazon Echo devices.
Also, in the terms of design and shape, it’s very sleek and looks somewhat better than the Amazon Echo. Although Brumpost haven’t gotten hands on this device, Huawei claims that the Speaker is a high-end and groundbreaking wireless 360-degree speaker, with a powerful sound system.

Four speakers that looks a lot like the Amazon Echo in terms of shape and size probably means good audio quality and that will be the want of anyone opting for this device.
One thing that sets the device apart is te Wi-Fi functionality. While Huawei had always tried creating a good routers and a Smart Speaker powered with 4G LTE should do well.

Ok let’s talk about the Wireless router!
Being a smart home wireless router device powered by Alexa would mean it would probably connect with majority of devices Amazon Echo could control. Which means a speedy wireless connectivity.
If for example the speaker can work well as a router in the range of 300MBPS, then easily syncing to the cloud to retrieve and send data would be fast while other devices can work well with the device
While there are a number of powerful Wireless Router that are specially made to do the job, it might be advisable to stick to whichever you use but rather still, the fact that the home speaker speaker itself can be a router might be really interesting.
As of now, there isn’t any official pricing details, But we hope to get information about this in later times; just expect to pay top dollar for this.
Huawei also made it known that the device is only going to Europe this Christmas season while a US variant might still be pended. Even the Chinese variant won’t have Amazon’s Alexa on it which means a different approach for the east Asian market.
