The device which is rumored to be called “Razr 2” is expected to feature the mid-tier Snapdragon 765 processor which has 5G capability and also a 2,845mAh battery which we saw in the 2019 model. And as for storage, XDA Developer which reports the news says we could see the device running on 8GB of RAM with 256GB of internal storage with a 48MP main sensor with Android 10 out of the box.
After Motorola revived its iconic Razr flip phone last year, the company is reportedly working to launch an upgraded sequel in North America as early as this September.
Lenovo’s South Africa’s general manager, Thibault Dousson revealed the timing of the next generation Razr last week in a podcast known as Tech reframed. “There’s a new iteration [of the Razr ] coming up. There’s one in September I think, coming up,” he said just after the 18-minute mark.
Motorola could not immediately be reached for comment.

The Motorola Razr when it was released back in February in the US, it was the first vertically foldable smartphone with this design and it has specifications such as the Snapdragon 710 chipset, a 16MP primary sensor and 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Despite costing US$1,500, the device’s specifications were in the mid-tier level as we’ve seen numerous mid-range devices from Xiaomi that excelled really well with amazing specifications despite being sold for quarter the price of the Razr. The fact that the device folds seems to be the only thing special about the device and nothing more than that.
