The US Government isn’t forgiving Huawei no matter how long the issue gets as the House Representatives has passed a bill that will now prevent the government from using funds to help carriers buy Huawei telecommunication equipment as well as other equipment that are been considered to be of National Threat t the state security are now being banned under the draft “Secure and Trusted Communications Networks Act.”
According to comments from important figures like the Chairman, Energu and Commerce Committee, Ranking Member Greg Walden, Reps. Doris Matsui and Brett Guthrie as well as Frank Pallone Jr. all commented that the move was necessary in order to protect America’s wireless network from “Malicious Foreign interference”
They also added that “companies like Huawei and its affiliates pose a significant threat to America’s commercial and security interests because a lot of communications providers rely heavily on their equipment.”
When the Senate votes in favor of this new act, it will prevent the US Federal Communications Commission from providing funds to carriers in order to purchase equipment from Huawei as well as requiring the government in helping smaller carriers to oust any “Suspect network equipment” and will see the Government share supply chain security information with carriers.

Huawei in case you don’t know doesn’t make smartphones and tablets only, the company is in fact one of the largest telecommunication equipment maker but got blacklisted as an “Entity” in the US because the government believes they build backdoors that leak information back to the Chinese government.
And even the US President signed an Executive order which banned business ties between Huawei from operating businesses with US companies due to “National Security” concern as Huawei was said to be too close to the Chinese Government even though there was no proof of this and Huawei had in fact denied this claim on several occasions.
