It’s 2022 and it’s the best time to plan out your workout routine in order to keep fit and stay healthy and Peloton is here to help out with that ambition thanks to its new armband.
The new addition is expected to offer greater comfort than chest-based heart rate monitors.
The new Peloton Heart Rate Armband will cost you about US$90 and will be appropriate for tracking your workouts via its optical heart rate sensor while also being easier to use compared to the chest strap that requires precise placement and a moistened contact point.
One can however say this is an improvement to the technology as the Heart Rate Band will offer a better experience to those with mobility issues who may find it difficult to use the chest-based heart rate monitor which the company previously worked on.

Currently, the technology is available in places such as the United States, Australia, Canada, Germany, and the United Kingdom while other regions could subsequently get access to the device.
Another thing is the fact that the Peloton app provides a greater depth for the heart rate armband with several functions and data analysis made available via its mobile application. In fact, it can sync up with other work-out equipment such as treadmills and some bike models.
Interestingly, the armband is also compatible with other products that recognize common Bluetooth heart rate monitors although there is no ANT+ support.
As mentioned earlier, the price for the new heart rate armband is US$90 which is quite pricey relative to the chest strap that had a US$49 price tag.
