Usually, the Galaxy A series are the affordable versions of most Samsung devices offering some mid-range features right next to the more expensive Galaxy S series.
The company is reportedly working on a much cheaper Galaxy 03s according to a recent rumor from 91Mobiles. If this news is true, it will then become an update to the previous Galaxy A02s released back in 2020.
Recently, there is a new update about what to expect from the device considering the fact that its an affordable smartphone. For example, it’s said to come with the Samsung’s Infinity-V display notch and a 6.5-inch display.
Being an affordable device, it’ll have a plastic back and the camera system will be a triple system with the primary sensor being a 13MP and then a dual 2MP ultra-wide and macro lens respectively.

The front facing selfie-camera will be a 5MP sensor and it will be the same as the older Galaxy A02s but software updates might make the image processing much better than the previous model.
Also there are information that the device will come with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner which might mean it’ll come with an IPS LCD display instead of the OLED panels on other high-end Galaxy A series.
In terms of design, the thickness is rumored to be about 9.5mm and could measure 166.6 x 75.9 x 9.1mm but in terms of the technical specs, nothing yet is known but Samsung could basically use the Snapdragon 400 series which was used in the previous model else, we might just see it being powered by a MediaTek chipset.
Also missing are information about the pricing and the release date of the device but further speculations have it that the release could be as soon as a couple of weeks from now.
However, there’s a 3D video of the device posted on YouTube which can offer a little bit of information about the device when it debut later on this year.
