I mean we’re barely into the iPhone 11 Series yet but news about the iPhone 12 which we won’t officially see until September 2020 had been circulating the internet detailing the looks and few specs of the smartphone.
There have been rumors that the next iPhone’s design concept will be modeled right after the older iPhone 4 whose design is squarely with minimal curves as possible around the edges of the devices.
That means squared-off edges and we’re absolutely here for it. And YouTube channel Path of Design seems to agree.

The concept 3D video which mocks the future iPhone 12 Pro looked great if that is what Apple came up with eventually. If Apple eventually adopt that, it’s definitely going to match up with the modern smartphones…a route where Android smartphones are already exploring.

By that I mean look at Andrioid smartphones being made in 2019, nearly all of them have no notch but adopted the pop-up camera mechanism instead for the front facing sensors. Others use Hole-Punch while some companies even wen as far as placing the camera underneath the screen display. Only iPhone 11 has the same old 2017 giant notch but Apple fans doesn’t care anyway.
Other things that would make this device awesome includes the Bilateral charging which Apple failed to have on the current iPhone this year.
If Apple follows its usual release cadence, we’d expect the iPhone 12 (analyst Ming-Chi Kuo believes Apple will skip iPhone 11S) to be announced in the first two weeks of September 2020. But that is a long, long way away right now.
