Still, on software updates and security patches, Google is apparently bringing the April 2022 Android security patch to its recently released Pixel 6 smartphones and the software update can be installed via the settings page or via a manual channel.
Among the plethora of fixes are things like bug fixes and feature tweaks. Google also released the changelog on its Pixel phone help site where users can preview all the notable tweaks and bug fixes that were made with the new software.
In case you do not want to keep waiting for the OTA alert on your device, it’s very possible to manually do the update as mentioned above. All you have to do is download the factory image or OTA.
