Even though the official iPhone 12 will not be released until later on this year probably fall, there have been numerous leaks and updates about the look and feel of the device. But one design which has stood out of the many released leaks is the iPhone 4-ish design which has a squared edges and corners while the notch on the display seems smaller compared to that on the iPhone 11 series.
But one new design addition to that rumor is the relocation of the sim slot to an entirely different part of the device according to Macotakara, the SIM-slot has now being moved in order to allow space or antenna-in-package module created by Qualcomm for 5G connectivity so in short, iPhone 12 might be joining the unending list of Android 5G devices which aren’t even expensive in fact but that’s a story for another time.
The images show a 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch iPhone 12 as well as a 6.1-inch iPhone 12 Pro and larger 6.7-inch monster. All of them will use the same design aesthetic that debuted on the iPhone 4 and was last seen in the iPhone 5s. It’s also reminiscent of the current iPad Pro, too.
Based on the model rendering, there is a version with 5.4-inch display and another with 6.1-inch thought to being the iPhone 12 Pro then another bigger 6.7-inch size. But as said, the design aesthetics are all the same looking exactly like the older iPhone 4 this might be the noticeable design specs of the upcoming device.

Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 12 lineup in September or October, depending on how badly the coronavirus pandemic has hindered production and prototyping because all that could have an effective factor on how soon the device will be released meanwhile, the company still went head to release the iPhone SE right amid the COVID-19 pandemic so this one coming towards the end of the year might not be a big issue for the company to release if you think about it. But anyway, enjoy views of the mock-up with the relocated SIM-slot.

Apple is also set to begin releasing iOS 14 betas later this month and we often see hints at new iPhone 12 features as part of that, too.
