Samsung isn’t stopping as the company keeps releasing new devices every now and then. Just few days ago, the Galaxy A41 was unveiled in Japan while the Galaxy M21 was also launched in India.
The next in line is the Galaxy A31 which is another mid-ranger from the South Korean tech giant. In the midst of the whole Coronavirus nightmare, Samsung still plans to release the Galaxy M41 and the Galaxy A71 5G soonest.
Few specifications about the device includes the display which is a massive 6.4-inch FHD+ “Infinity-U” display and packed with an octa-core CPU with two cores that reaches 2.0GHz as well as another six cores which peaks 1.7GHz making the device insanely fast and interesting.
The device runs on the entry-level MediaTek’s Helio P65 chipset according to a Geekbench listing which was earlier revealed this month. But aside that, the device comes in two models which includes the 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage version and then the bigger 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage and can take up to a massive 512GB of external storage using a MicroSD card.
The Galaxy A31 followed the design patterns of other Samsung smartphones released this year so far where we’ve seen the repetitive inclusion of the rectangular camera module design which houses four rear sensors that includes the following setup: a 48MP f/2.0 primary camera, another 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide angle camera, then a smaller 5Mp f/2.4 depth sensor, and lastly, another 5MP f.2.4 macro camera. The selfie camera is just 20MP f/2.2 sensor which isn’t bad.
As for the power of the device, it comes with a much larger 5000mAh battery but can only fast charge at just 15W which isn’t impressive but then this is just a mid-ranger smartphone after all. Since the display is an OLED panel, the device features an in-display fingerprint scanner and it supports the Samsung Pay service. One UI built right on top of the latest Android 10 OS out of the box and other interesting features that makes the device quite interesting enouygh.
While the official pricing of the Galaxy A31 isn’t yet known by anyone yet, the device will come in four different color configurations which includes the Prism Crush Black, Prism Crush Blue, Prism Crush Red, and Prism Crush White.
While Samsung a host of other smartphone makers are making and releasing different smartphones, there has been a massive dwindle in smartphone purchase during the time of the Coronavirus pandemic which is absolutely affecting the smartphone market in general.
