The Galaxy Note Edge is a mobile phone hybrid or Phablet made and marketed by Samsung Electronics and launched to the public back in the November 14, 2014. The phone becomes another brilliant invention from the South Korean company with a right sided curved design which distinguishes it from the NORMAL Galaxy Note series.
The right curve had been a functional apparatus for quick navigation’s for things like Recently used Apps, application shortcuts, notifications, and other information relevant to the user of the device.

Software/Hardware
As if the time of initial release dating back as far as 12 months ago, the device was shipped with Android 4.4.4 KitKat Operating system. With a powerful processor, the device can do a lot of multitasking making it quiet more adorable and powerful unlike its predecessors. The Galaxy edge is thus a better advantage for advanced mobile user who seeks a better functionality.
The phone features as usual a stylus pen tucked at the left side of the device. With a more powerful battery of 3000mAh, the device would last far longer than expected of it. It also featured some physical buttons like the volume key and power key. With an enhanced headphone Jack port. It also features a removable micro SD memory card making the back openable.
The Galaxy Note Edge is similar in design to the Galaxy Note 4 (which is in turn an evolution of the Galaxy Note 3), with a metallic frame and a plastic leather rear cover. The device features either an Exynos 5 Octa 5433(South Korea Version) or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805(International Version) system-on-chip, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 or 64 GB of expandable storage. As with other Galaxy Note series devices, it includes an S Penstyluswhich can be used for pen input, drawing, and handwriting. Similarly to other recent Samsung flagship devices, it also includesa heart rate sensor andfingerprint scanner. The Galaxy Note Edge features a 5.6-inch”Quad HD+”Super AMOLEDdisplay, which contains an additional 160 pixel wide column that wraps around the side of the device on a curve. The device includes a 16 megapixel rear camera with aback-illuminated sensor,optical image stabilization, and 4K video recording, and a 3.7 megapixel front-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge received mixed to positive reviews from critics, who mostly praised the design, but criticized the size, price and lack of functionality of the curved edge.
