We announced the release of the Xiaomi’s roll-out of the upcoming Android 11 Beta 1 for the Redmi K30 Pro as well as the new Poco F2 Pro smartphones. This was an AOSP build with a similar update was also available for the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro.
The newest release is an update to that previous model which is the Android 11 Beta 2 for the Redmi K30 Pro but not for the entire world but instead, for Chinese users for now.
Supported devices had been getting the MIUI 12 weekly beta builds since when they made their initial announcement. Though Xiaomi is always known for being late in updating it’s device’s operating systems but at least the fact that the company is already moving in to move up with the next Android version and that a good news.
And speaking of the interesting things about the update, devices that would have support for this new operating system update would likely get rolled out immediately after the stable release of the Android 11 update is official.
Having said that, this update is currently limited to Redmi K30 Pro in China. The Chinese smartphone maker is yet to release it for POCO F2 Pro, the international variant of the handset. We expect the company to release it soon in the coming days.
