It’s 2022 and smartphone companies are already starting prepping up. Apart from brands like Realme, Honor, or Samsung, OnePlus is yet another one that’s set to debut its next-gen flagship for the year.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is set to be launched in the Chinese market later this month. Ahead of the launch of the device, the company has already started taking pre-orders for the product in its local market of China.
Apart from taking pre-orders already, OnePlus also announced that it will be hosting the launch event on Jan. 11th in China at 14:00 PM local time.

To book a reservation for the device in China, you’ll be required to make a CNY 100 (US$16) deposit. Also, you’ll be entitled to free TWS earbuds if you join the pre-order customers.

According to revelations, the device is expected to come in either 8GB of RAM and 128GB/512GB of storage or the one with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Color options will include Black and Green.
Being a flagship-tier smartphone, the OnePlus 10 Pro will certainly include some interesting hardware specs as well as design tweaks compared to the previous model.
On the design front, there will be a 6.7-inch curved display with ultra-tiny bezels and a fast 120Hz refresh rate.
The device’s display is also said to sport Samsung’s LTPO 2.0 technology – so expect an always-on feature.
Apart from the external hardware, the device is expected to make use of the powerful and latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with an LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The camera should be slightly better than the previous model based on my expectations. And the system will be made up of three-camera sensors with the primary sensor being a 48MP camera, and then a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and then an 8MP 3x optical zoom lens.
The front-facing selfie camera that will reside in hole-punch on the display will be a 32MP sensor.
The OnePlus 10 Pro will also come with Android 12 out of the box with either ColorOS 12 or OxygenOS laced on it – depending on the region the device is being sold.
It is expected to be powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 125W fast charging support.
