So finally after a really long waiting from Xiaomi to release the POCO F2 Pro after the first POCOFONE F1 was released back in 2018, many specifications had gone all over the internet about the device being made right after the Redmi K30 Pro although that was never official not until we saw what Xiaomi was up to just a week ago when the device was finally released officially and yeah, it was based mostly on the Redmi K30 Pro which is an interesting smartphone with numerous specifications and features.
The new POCO F2 Pro really did well in maintaining that image of being a true flagship killer with interesting features and specifications which are nearly endless to list out. The device itself included the motorized pop-up front-facing selfie camera which I had always anticipate as a more modernized way of placing cameras on smartphones without disturbing the contents being viewed by the end users and yeah no hole-punch or notch.
The device also have a powerful 4,700 mAh Li-Po battery with a 30Watts super fast charging which all add up to the power of the device. Running on the current Android 10.0 with the MIUI 11 built on top of it, it’s definitely an interesting specification that anyone who wants a truly powerful budget-friendly smartphone should look into.
The display is a nice 6.67-Inch Super AMOLED display and it has four cameras at the back with the main sensor being a 64Megapixel that can record up to 8K resolution at 24/30 frames per seconds…how cool is that. Other interesting thing includes being powered by the high-grade Snapdragon 865 5G chipset with global support as well as a variant between 6GB of RAM with 128GB of internal storage and then the 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
But overall, the POCO F2 Pro offer an immersive performance with really high quality display, speedy functionality, nice design and many software upgrades that makes you wonder if you’ve wasted your money buying the more expensive OnePlus 8 Pro.
