Galaxy A70 was an interesting smartphone when it was released last year offering upper mid-range specifications and the “Infinity-U” display as well as a triple rear camera setup but a trimmed down Snapdragon 675 chipset.
Samsung then updated the device with the Galaxy A70s which had the nearly the same specifications just a little tweak 2ithbth3 camera which was incremented to 64MP from 32MP. Now renders of another model called the Galaxy A70e have leaked and it seems to be an affordable version of the Galaxy A70.
The source of the leak is OnLeaks and he has collaborated with Indian blog, Compare raja together creating a render mocking the look and feel of the rumored device.
According to the new image leak of the Galaxy A70e, the device will feature the Infinity-U disolay just like the Galaxy A70 and A70s but will have a slight change in how its being laid out as the “U” shape will seem like a “v” somehow.
Other noticeable differences with the device includes the bezels which are somewhat thicker but since this isn’t the final official product, we aren’t just drawing out conclusion about the look and feel of the device just yet. As for the display, it’s rumored to be 6.1-inches with flat edges.
Other design specifications includes the vertical arrangement of its triple rear camera setup which is housed together with an LED flash. It also has its fingerprint scanner right at the back which unlike the Galaxy A70 has its scanner under the screen.
This doesn’t mean the display may not be an AMOLED panel as Samsung has phones with AMOLED screens and rear-mounted fingerprint scanners. An example is the Galaxy A30
Other noticeable specification includes the addition of an audio headphone jack at the top of the device whole the speaker grille, micro-USB port and microphone resides at the bottom of the device. The volume and power buttons are on the right while the SIM tray sits on the left.
While there isn’t anything official just yet about the Galaxy A70e, the aforementioned design specifications means this is a much cheaper device. I mean this is 2020 who still include MicroUSB port on their devices if not some overtly cheap smartphones. As for the color variation, the device will come in both black and white but more could be released upon launching of the smartphone later on this year.
