The year is running out pretty fast and companies are planning for the next year among which is Qualcomm with its next-gen Snapdragon 898 chipset.

It’s expected to be another industry-standard chipset that’ll power premium-tier devices such as the Galaxy S22 series and other premium devices by 2022.

One recent report from popular Twitter leaker Ice Universe has it that the chipset will have some really interesting features.

Speaking of how interesting the SoC will be, a recent Geekbench score showed an impressive 5 points performance which Ice Universe tweeted on his Twitter handle.

According to the information gathered via the tweet, the Snapdragon 898 chipset has 1200 scores in single-core and 3,900 scores in a multi-core test.

Things will get pretty exciting next year in the tech world but we can only anticipate it right now.

The chipset’s announcement could be held as soon as December or January of 2022 which is when we’ll get to see the features and specifications of the chipset.

Also, it will power the majority of high-end devices next year with brands like Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, ASUS all jumping onboard.

But Samsung is also working on upping its game in the chip business with the next-gen Exynos 2200 which will reportedly feature AMD’s RDNA GPU with Ray Tracing tech.
