We were all impressed by the performances of the Redmi K20 which is a truly premium yet affordable smartphone. One new leak showed that the Redmi K30 which is said to have been scheduled to arrive this December with 5G network will feature even more interesting features.
Redmi which is also owned by Xiaomi while planning to release it’s flagship device even though nothing is yet official about the date of release, live photos of the device were posted online which showed major functionalities of the forthcoming smartphone.

While nothing much is yet known about the design, a dual hole-punch camera looking like the Galaxy S10+ pills is obvious but as far as the back is concerned, nothing is yet known about the design or it’s rear camera arrangement. What is even more obvious in the photo is a list of details which were written in Chinese.
The Redmi K30 is going to sport 6.66-Inches display with a 1080 x 2400 display resolution but it’s exact processing unit isn’t yet official as well. But speculations has it that it would definitely run on a Qualcomm chipset while it’s GPU will be an Adreno 618. This is the GPU for the Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 730G and it appears Qualcomm is using it for the SM7250 too.

Another important feature of the Redmi K30 is the refresh rate of it’s display which is going to be 120Hz. This would be a better upgrade considering the fact that most Xiaomi devices up till now only feature 90Hz refresh rate.
Another of the image shows the Display Settings menu where users will be able to switch between 60Hz and 120Hz. The menu does mention that switching to a lower refresh rate will save battery. Under this menu, users will also be able to turn on reading mode and dark mode.

The third image which displays the About Phone showed that the Redmi K30 will run on the MIUI 11 based on Android 9 Pie but would definitely be upgradeable to the next Android 10. There is also going to be variants with different memory spaces with the lowest being 64GB storage space.
As for pricing, also nothing is official but the device could start as low as $300 for the base model while it’s high-end model could near $500. Also other features includes USB Type-C, Gorilla Glass protection but we wouldn’t know if it would be IP68 rated until it’s launched, stay tuned for more information about the Redmi K30 on Brumpost.
