One of the biggest disruptor in the smartphone mobile market is Xiaomi and this Chinese company won’t stop aiming at other big players in the industry. One of their next and biggest release will take place next week, on the 24th of September.
The new Xiaomi Mi Mix 5G as well as the Mi 9 Pro 5G as well as their custom Android skin, the MIUI 11 and a brand new Mi TV. Xiaomi is very notorious about the “Mi” – Everything brand which sometimes makes it a bit difficult for me to pronounce. But that’s probably a video I’ll make on the street about how to pronounce the name of their devices or so.
So back to the story. There are reports that said Xiaomi will be adopting a new kind of name for it’s so-called Mix Series which will see the adoption of the Mix 4 name instead making the new Mix device another “Mi Mix 5G”…we’ll surely get used to that if the device goes mainstream enough.
An official teaser was released which tags these two devices as concept devices. If you recall, the Mix line up all started as concept devices. Meanwhile, the Mi 9 Pro 5G will be the world fastest wireless charging smartphone with a 30W charging technology which seems to also be featured on the Mi Mix 5G

Also joining the announcement will be a new Mi TV. While nothing much is yet known about the new TV, it’s surely going to be offering premium features all packed up. An 8K resolution would most likely be the starting point. Considering the fact that OnePlus too is going into the SmartTV business might make sense as more manufacturers are joining the smart TV bandwagon. Honor too announced it’s own Smart Screen which runs the Harmony OS.

As more information about the event comes up, we’ll surely do well to keep you informed. And speaking about the MIUI 11 OS, there is said to be an updated design as well as unified icons. Other prominent features includes Voice Assistant assisted call screenings and of course more Google/Android goodies.
