The fate of Huawei might have been sealed already and thanks to the novel Coronavirus, the US government might never have enough time to respond to issues pertaining to the company and Huawei it self seems to have improvised by first launching it’s own Huawei Mobile Service or HMS just as the GMS and then launched the Huawei App Gallery meant to replicate the Google Play Store and maybe Huawei doesn’t even care about the external world again but their numbers keep growing anyway as the company’s latest update of the EMUI 10.0 based on the Android 10 OS now crosses over 100 million users.

The update brings about the latest updates of the Android OS and other important security updates and bug patches even though the Android 11 is already in the testing phase with developers.

The initial release of the EMUI based on the Android 10 OS was first released back in September 2019 when the company launched it’s flagship, the Mate 30 series then it rolled out the update globally throughout a number of devices that supports it.

And since that period in time, there have been numerous developers from Huawei who have worked to include about 33 different Huawei devices to accept the EMUI 10 update.

The EMUI is Huawei’s official skin built right on top of the ANdroid S which brings some unique features and functionalities that sets its devices aside from other companies that also use the Android OS, say Samsung for example which uses it’s own skin it called One UI or Xiaomi’s MiUI.

New features off the EMUI 10 includes the GPU Turbo, EROFS file system, Ark Compiler and an AI Assistant. The overall User interface has now been well improved which further enhance the features and functionality of the OS. One of the important inclusion is the new system-wide Dark Mode feature.

Another interesting thing is the inclusion of the Always On display right on it’s OLED display which unlike the Monotonous designs found on other manufacturers, Huawei is quite creative on this by making this design colorful.

Another interesting feature is the ability to now cross connect across the Huawei ecosystem something which hasn’t been possible until now. So doing things like file sharing can now be seamlessly done from one Huawei device to the other be it it’s smartphone to the MateBook laptop which runs on the Windows platform. This and other major improvements are quite interesting features now included within the new Huawei update marking the company’s progress despite the Coronavirus’ debacle.
