The month of June is almost gone. Prepared or not, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is coming pretty soon and it seems to be the most advanced of all the Galaxy smartphones ever seen in 2019. Aside the failure of the Galaxy Fold which is yet to make it out to the market due to engineering problems, Samsung isn’t relaxing as it’s working tirelessly on it’s most advanced smartphone, the Galaxy Note 10.
With lots of rumors and news already circulating the entire internet about how the device would look and feel like, many trusted sources had made claims based on Third-party casings which highlights the positions of the device’s rear camera as well as the punch-hole camera at the front.
While the Galaxy Note 10 is well talked about, there might be some unanswered questions as to how really advanced the device can get. Because currently, nearly all smartphones behaves alike just the branding. What could be the uniqueness of the device that would make you up to a thousand dollars just to get one.
Even thought he Galaxy Note had a dented image which happened back in 2017 and other rumors of a Galaxy S10 5G bursting into flames, the actuality of the new device is what we hope to see more of. But this post is to tell you a little bit of what we know about the Galaxy Note 10.
The Design and Display
This is the most controversial part of the story. We’ve seen full screen “No Notch” displays on other Samsung smartphones like the Galaxy A80 for example but despite the slide-out camera and in-display camera being the new phenomenon, leaks and rumors showed that the Galaxy Note 10 will have a punch-hole just as with the Galaxy S10.
According to Ice Universe, a popular and trustworthy leaker posted a leaked front facing screen protection of the Galaxy Note 10 showing it’s extremely narrowed down bezels as well as the Center Camera punch-hole. Even though a “Chin” bezel still exists on the device, the device would look definitely sleek when released.
The device has Curved Edges which is something Samsung is very great at these days. The middle or “Centered” Camera punch hole makes the device unique and very different from the other Galaxy smartphones with the same technology, the Camera punch hole.
Talking about the “Chin” Bezel, this is so narrowly designed that it looked like those on the iPhone X which is really going to be a breakthrough for an Android smartphone. Huawei’s Honor 8X or example, has a really slim “Chin” bezels but if what Ice Universe says is true, then this will be a true improvement by Android OEM.
The device also do not have a speaker groove on it’s forehead which means we’ll be experiencing the Sound on Display (SoC) technology on the device which auto replaces the traditional speaker. This technology uses piezoelectric transducers right under the device’s screen and then sends sound waves through the display basically turning the display into a speaker ad removing the need for an additional earpiece.
With all these leaks and rumors, render creators have been able to create a really smooth design that probably mimic the look and feel of the device. Obvious things about the physical look of the Galaxy Note 10 includes the single hole-punch camera which is centered on the device, the vertically stacked triple-lens camera set up which is right at the right back side of the device and also an absence of an headphone jack pot.
Also, the screen dimension is said to be about 6.3 inches. But don’t be scared if you always prefer the Galaxy Note huge. This version is thought to be the second of the two variants of the Galaxy Note 10 in 2019. The main Galaxy Note 10 is thought to be a massive 6.66 inch device which would make it way bigger than the Galaxy Note 9.
Take a look at the video showing the renders in 360-degrees for a closer look at the USB Type-C connection, buttons for volume and power, plus the curved screen and thin metal chassis.
Another amusing thing about this device are the physical buttons. Rumors also has it that the Note 10 may use capacitive or pressure sensitive buttons just as those we’ve seen on the HTC U12 Plus. It’s a really cool technology and very advanced to talk about.
The Price and release date
Although nothing is yet official about the Galaxy Note 10 in terms of release date and price but if we look at the history of the device, it’s usually released during summers or end of it.
But though while all those might be a wild guess, a report gotten from CNET might be a little bit of a narrow-down on things. The report states that the Note 10 will be released to the world during the August 7 Samsung Galaxy Unpacked in New York…sounds interesting right?
But talking about the price, this is definitely going to be priced at a premium rate for sure. According to a report from Hi-Tech, the device is expected to cost a thousand dollars or let’s just say it will start at that price range and could go as far as $1,100 or even $1,300 but we’re not sure which of the two variants will cost more. But considering the Samsung Galaxy S10E, one might just conclude that the smaller, the cheaper.
Let’s talk about the Camera
This is the part that most have been waiting for. But come to think of it, the Galaxy Note series had always present awesome cameras in the past so why worry about the future version of the device. Okay let’s dive straight into it.
First, the device will have four cameras altogether which is triple set-up at the back and a single lens up front right at the center in a hole-punch on the immersive display.
Talking about the selfie camera, Samsung may then turn to a patent discovered by Android Police for the Note 10 whereby the camera is inside the S Pen Stylus….AMAZING! What this does is enabling a real all screen experience which means no notch, no slide out, no in-display camera just a big full-screen.
You should also know that the long shape of the S Pen may also make it the perfect place to hide an optical zoom lens. Being able to squeeze an optical zoom into the S Pen would be a real win for Samsung, but we imagine it won’t be a simple goal to accomplish.
We heard there will be two models
Models, versions or variants or whatever it’s going to be called, Samsung is definitely going to flood the mobile marketplace with smartphones this year…or should I just say they’ve been doing that already.
With the Galaxy S10 in three different models, the Galaxy A series with “I don’t know how many” Models the same is going to be possible with the Galaxy Note 10.
With leakers already giving the higher variant a name, the Galaxy Note 10 Pro already, it seems this will make the device a true phenomenon. According to The Bell, Samsung is said to be considering the launch of a standard version of the Note 10 as well as a smaller variant which is said to be a limited version. It also made it known that the smaller version or model will be available only in some selected European smartphone market.
How powerful is this device?
It’s definitely going to be powerful. Galaxy Notes had always been designed for productivity and business classes. While there isn’t anything official as far as the specifications of the Galaxy Note 10 is concerned, there are obvious reasons why the Galaxy Note 10 will be the best Galaxy Smartphone in 2019.
We also got rumors that the battery capacity of the device should be about 4,500 mAh on the pro-edition while the charging of the Note 10 is rumored to be over the top. Previous rumors has the device will charge at 25 watts but this Note 10 is thought to be as high as 45 Watts.
Few other leaks about the phone have surfaced, but we can speculate given previous Galaxy Note phones. The Galaxy Note phone usually features Qualcomm’s latest and greatest processor, and we expect that to be true of this phone, too.
Will it support the 5G Network
Almost all smartphone makers this year will have to set up a panel that specially answer this question as far as 2019 smartphones are concerned. People want to know if smartphones will come with 5G and the same should be expected of the premium flagship, the Galaxy Note 10. But there is a high possibility that the Note 10 will come with the 5G connectivity already built right into the device just as we’ve seen in the Galaxy S10 5G.
We’re still a while away from launch, so there’s no solid information yet. However, rumors about 5G are persisting. The latest news concerns the kernel source code for the Exynos chipset released by Samsung alongside the Galaxy S10 range. The code makes mention of a “davinci5g” — and since the current assumed code name of the Note 10 is “Da Vinci,” this seems to point to a 5G model of the Note 10, or even that the standard Note 10 will support 5G connectivity
A leak from Sammobile gives the Note 10’s model number as “SM-N975F.” While this may not seem strange, it’s more usual for the Note range’s model to end with a “0,” not a “5.” Could this errant 5 indicate 5G connectivity? It’s certainly worth keeping in mind
