Mid-range smartphones seems to already be winning the war against premium flagships as they offer incredible features that makes them amazing in all aspects. And one of the kind is the new Vivo S6 5G which gets powered by a Falgship chipset, the Exynos 980 SoC from Samsung.
The new Vivo S6 5G comes with a 6.44-Inch AMOLED display with four cameras, dual-mode 5G connectivity as well as a massive 4,500 mAh battery. The Vivo S6 5G is yet the third from the company to feature the chipset right after the Vivo X30 and Vivo X30 Pro

And speaking of the design specifications, it sports a 6.44-Inch AMOLED display with a FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels) with a waterdrop notch right at the center top of the display where the 32MP selfie camera resides.
The panel comes with a tall 20:9 aspect ratio and features an in-display fingerprint reader.

At the back is a circular camera module which houses the device’s quad setup which comprise of a 48MP main shooter and ten an 8MP ultrawide shooter, 2MP macro snapper and a 2MP depth helper.
On the software front, we find vivo’s Funtouch OS 10 based on Android 10. Speaking of the power of the device, it comes powered by the Samsung’s Exynos 980 chipset with an 8GB of RAM offering it all the smoothness it deserves. The storage capacity of the device ranges from 128GB to 256GB and the battery capacity is a big 4500mAh with an 18W fast charging.

As for the design, the Vivo S6 5G comes in Black and White and Blue colors while pre-order is already available with the scheduled launch expected to take place later this week on the 4th, April.

The 6/128GB version goes for CNY 2,698 ($380) while the 8/256GB trim will set buyers back CNY 2,998 ($425). As for the international variant, nothing much is yet known so we have to keep our fingers crossed until more information are revealed about the device.
