If you’re part of those that adopted the Vivo Nex 3 5G when it was released last year, you’ll know it’s a really interesting smartphone. It was the first production smartphone to sport the water-fall display where the screen curves around the device up to 90% of the sides of the device.
Vivo is now rolling out the stable Android 10 with the Funtouch OS 10 built on top of the device which is an upgrade from the time of launch which was the Funtouch OS 9.
But aside the beautiful Funtouch OS UI, the smartphone also come with interesting features and specifications which includes a Snapdragon 855 chipset with the Snapdragon X50 5G modem.

The beta testing of the Funtouch OS 10 began last month and the stable roll out is happening within a month for all regular users of the smartphone. The announcement of the update was made last December while the company even listed devices eligible for the upgrade.

The Nex 3 5G being the company’s flagship definitely top the list and is tipped to being among those to receive the first batch of the update.
Much like any other update, it will happen in phases so if you do not receive yours just yet, you might have to wait a little bit. Also, do note that this update is only being seeded out to the devices with model number V1924A so check your own Nex 3 5G.
The Functouch OS 10 stable update based on Android 10 for the Vivo Nex 3 5G bumps up the build version to 6.10.1 with March 2020 security patch.
To check out if you’ve gotten your own update, head to the Settings app and then scroll down to About Phone and look for Software update. If there is an update waiting for you, then click on download and afterwards, update your smartphone else, if that information is missing, it means you are either not eligible (based on model number) yet so wait for your own phase.
