Chinese tech companies have been thriving lately while coming up with great innovations that competes against mainstream tech companies. Umidigi which is known for making affordable gadgets especially smartphones isn’t stopping there. The launching of it’s Upods is proposed to take on Apple Airpods as a cheaper alternative which anyone can afford without having to pay above $100.

Because of the very new stage at which the Umidigi Upods are, the company is selling the Upods at a relatively lower price for the first 10,000 units for as low as $9.99 USD which is very very affordable. The deal ends on the 26th of August at exactly 7 AM GMT. Anyone can try this out and see if it’s worth the price point. We’ve already requested our own test units which will be reviewed on Brumpost upon arrival.

Talking about the deal, the $9.99 USD price point gets you the wireless earbuds with the latest Bluetooth 5.0 which offers a really fast and stable pairing. It is also said to offer a really high quality audio considering it’s 7.2mm dynamic driver. The Upods weighs just 4G with the claims that they’re very comfortable in the ears. Also the design meant it would block ambient noise from entering into your ear while enjoying songs.

As far as the battery capability is concerned, the Upods is said to last for about 4 hours on a single charge for each earbuds. But the fact that the device has a casing which also charges it would increase that number to about 24 hours mark. If you compare that with the Apple AirPods, that is quite similar but in the terms of pricing, that just a little fraction.

Umidigi Upods won’t be the only earbuds offering such long term of usage. The Xiaomi AirDots does almost the same and it’s also a budget friendly device you can get. The compatibility of the Upods with both Android and iOS devices as well as major AI assistants such as Google Assistant, Siri and Bixby makes a lot of sense.

Umidigi will also be launching it’s new In-screen fingerprint sensor device, the Umidigi X which is expected to start a global sales on August 26th, 7AM GMT exclusively at the UMIDIGI official store on AliExpress. The Umidigi X alongside the Upods will go on sales at the same period.
