The on-going CES is where lots and lots of tech innovations are being unleashed at the peak. What’s even more amazing is that computers are now becoming much better every year and this year 2020 isn’t an exception.
During the Las Vegas Tech convention, tons of companies poured out to showcase their new devices among which are some top Windows powered laptops we’ll be mentioning today.
So far so good, there have been numerous laptops which have been unveiled at the CES 2020 but we’ll be listing out some of the best among the best which caught our interest the most on this list.
Acer Swift 3

If there is any company that is pushing the limits of technology, it’s definitely Acer. The new Acer Swift 3 is an amazingly affordable Windows-enabled PC which offers great value for the money. The compact design of the laptop makes it a good buy for those who wants something they can carry along anywhere they want and whenever.

At just 13.5-Inches of display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, the laptop comes very lightweight and should fit very well into a mid-sized bag for the ease of transportation.
One amazing thing about the Acer Swift 3 laptop is the fact that is that the manufacturer promised a 16-hours long battery life which is really amazing and considering the price tag which stands around $699 ( NG₦ 252,000 and SAR 9,900)
HP Elite Dragonfly G2

The next on the list is the all new HP Elite DragonFly G2 which was also unveiled at the CES which comes with a 5G wireless technology as well as the Sure View privacy display and also it’s integrated with Tile tracking which all sounds very good for a modern laptop in 2020.
HP as we know is a popular company which pushes the limits by trying to make the very best PCs for consumers at really great price-points. The fact that this laptop also includes the 5G networks marks the fact that 5G is going to likely become more phenomenal this year 2020.
As for the pricing of the HP Elite Dragonfly G2, there is nothing yet official but this is going to be a quite premium PC which might come at that cost as well.
Asus ROG Zephyrus G14

Then we have the Asus ROG Zephyrus G14 which is an astounding gaming laptop. Gaming PCs are a great game changer in the industry and Asus isn’t afraid to try something new especially in that realm.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 comes with a 14-Inches display and Asus calls it “the world’s most powerful gaming laptop”. The brag might be true considering the fact that the computer has the 4th generation AMD Ryzen CPU as well as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 graphics card.
Asus never stops to innovate especially when it comes with designs of its products. The ROG Zephyrus G14 has as much as 1,215 individual mini LEDs on it’s lid which makes the PC more fun and interesting. Of course we’ve seen the ROG Phone which also comes designed with loads of LED flashes.
Lenovo ThinkBook Plus

Lenovo had also tried to create it’s own dual-screen PC which is of course innovative and would be a great improvement for the company’s product lineup in the year 2020. The dual screens can be used for various things such as reading emails, assessing calendars and so forth.
The primary display is where the major action gets down while the secondary screen is just for the peripherals. The design of the ThinkBook Plus is very solid and the construction seems sturdy based on little interaction with the device. Also nothing is yet official about the pricing of the computer.
Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold

Folding screens are just becoming the norms and since 2019, they will continue to get better and more integrated into more hardware this year. When the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold was teased last year during the CES 2019, it was really impressive and now it’s back at CES 2020.
With a high pricetag of about $2,499 (NG₦ 903, 388 or SAR 35,406)which is really a big price tag. It has a compact design that allows it to fold into a much more smaller PC for a easier usage.
Asus Chromebook Flip C436

Then another Asus Chromebook Flip C436. The naming might be hard to pronounce out to your friend without having to Google it out every time they ask “what is the name of that PC?”
Long story short, it has a 14-Inches display with NanoEdge Full HD Touch display and can be flipped around as in 360 degree to become a tablet.
Other specifications includes a 12-Hour long battery life as well as a magnesium alloy chassis , four Harman Kardon speakers and a fingerprint scanner which makes it more interesting for a 2020 PC user.
Dell XPS 13

Just as you’ve been expecting it, we also includes the Dell XPS 13 which isn’t a stranger in the market. The new design of the XPS 13 is much more interesting as the bezels are now being slimmed down making it more smaller but much more powerful of course
Slimmed bezels and razor-thin thickness makes the Dell XPS 13 fit into a 11-inch body that makes it seem as if it’s smaller than it actually is. Take modern smartphones as an example with larger displays squeezed into smaller body.
Samsung Galaxy Book Flex Alpha

Samsung’s Neon isn’t the only thing brought to the CES 2020 to amaze us, the Galaxy Book Flex Alpha is yet another interesting piece of tech which is interesting as well considering its rotating QLED display as well as multiple specifications.
Specs aside, Samsung promises this thing would be a beast of an Laptop with a massive 17.5-hours of usage and can be charged with USB-C Blazing fast charging. What’s even more interesting is that it’s going to be worth the price because it’s not as expensive as the initially announced Galaxy Book Ion.
Samsung Galaxy Chromebook

Another newly released laptop at the CES 2020 is the Galaxy Chromebook which is an ultra-slim laptop with really tiny bezels. Sometimes you might wonder what are the major differences among all the numerous Chromebooks, well this one seems special because Samsung made it quite different in it’s design coming with a crisp 4K display and a 13.3-Inch. Of course, being a Chromebook its got a flippable touchscreen and a conveniently portable design.
Also, this is a premium computer and the price is about $999.99 (NG ₦ 361,500 or SAR 14,164) and we expect to see it in the market before the end of this first quarter.
Acer Spin 5

And behold the Acer Spin 3. What really amaze me about this new device is that it comes with the Acer Active Stylus which to some might just be a gimmick but I personally like sylus pen in gadgets. It’s also a convertible laptop with very slim form factor and yeah, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity is available on this one as well while it’s build quality is magnesium aluminium chassis.
These affordable laptops also apparently come with an all-day battery and a fast-charging Acer Active Stylus. Decent specs and an equally appealing price certainly make the Spin 5 a great option when it comes later this month.

With loads of products being unveiled during the CES 2020, we can’t just get hold of enough. Some of these devices will be out this year while others are just flexes because every company likes to brag about their innovation and technology right?
