Honor 9X didn’t get much attention like the Honor 8X which was launched back in 2018 but that doesn’t mean the device isn’t of high-value. The Honor 9X has some nice and interesting features despite being a mid-range smartphone.
The latest reaching us now is about the device now getting a Lite version. Or should I call it a much trimmed-down version with less excesses. A promo banner had already been out for promoting the device. New information which includes important specifications and pricing is now out through a Pakistani e-Retailer which confirms the release of the smartphone.
The device will come with a big 6.5-inch FullView Display and a front facing 16MP selfie camera. As for the back of the device will be a 48MP main shooter coupled with a 2MP for depth sensing and then a capacitive fingerprint scanner all at the back.
Powering it will be the company’s Kirin 710 chipset which will be paired with a 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. As for the power, it’ll be a 3,750mAh Li-Po battery unremovable battery.
The dimensions come in at 160.4 x 76.6 x 7.8 mm. On the software side, we see the phone will run EMUI 9.0 out of the box based on Android 9 but it will be upgradeable to Android 10. The Honor 9X Lite is listed for PKR 31,999 (US$207, NG₦ 75,141 , SAR 3101) and is already up for pre-order despite the lack of any official launch date or other information from Honor’s side.
Honor’s world domination also came into a horrible end when Huawei, it’s parent company got axed from doing business with American companies leading to the company’s inability to obtain the Google Play service license and a working relationship between both companies.
