The South Korean tech giant has started the rollout of security patches for its previous foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 2 even though its successor the Galaxy Z Fold 3 had received the updates.
While a detailed changelog of the current update is unavailable, the firmware version is F916NKSU1DUI4 and it’s expected to bring some improvements to the device aside from the latest security patch.

The new update is currently seeding in South Korea across different carriers, including SK Telecom, KT Corporation, and LG U+. You can head over to your Galaxy Z Fold2’s Settings > Software update menu to check for it manually if you haven’t received an update notification yet.
