Remember the Vivo NEX 3 with its ultra-curved waterfall display, there are recent reports that the company could make a follow-up NEX 5 soon.
Even though stories about the device have been online for quite a while now, the device was rumored to sport an under-display camera and a large 6.7-inch panel as well as its iconic curved display with 40W or 50W super-fast wireless charging capacity.
But then we got something else based on a recent render that surfaced on the internet. According to the tipster, the leaked render was said to be the “first official look.”
In fact, the leaker further added that the device could potentially make its debut this month of February but this is just a rumor and shouldn’t be taken too seriously.

However, remember that the device was supposed to have been announced back in the year 2021 but VIVO chose to ditch the launch.
Back to the leaked render, the device doesn’t have a quad-curved design but a normal curved display and also there is a selfie camera present on the device rather than the initially rumored under-display sensor.
The rumor also added that the device is supposed to house a 50MP sensor from Samsung as well as a periscope-styled telephoto camera.
Initially, reports about the camera are that it’ll offer 5x optical zoom via a joint partnership between Zeiss and VIVO.

There is still no official mention of the NEX 5 from Vivo, and we are still a bit light on other hardware details too.
