The CES 2020 as I keep predicting will be really interesting and another company that will ensure that is none but the Boring Company led by the visionary Elon Musk.
Anyway, enough of the hype. The organizing body right behind the CES 2020, Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in which the whole CES event takes place had given Elon Musk’s Boring Company about $50 Million which is to help get attendees of the convention from one side of the LVCC to the other.
The company which had been interestingly drilling loops through Las Vegas isn’t stopping and even if the fact that the innovation might not be really interesting to many, it’s definitely going to be a change of pattern come CES 2021 because according to a post published on Electrek, the first Boring Company loop tunnel might be used to ferry people across to the 2021 convention.
If $50 million seems like a lot of cash for a people mover that should have a total length of around a mile, that’s because it is, but the LVCC is massive and is slated to get even bigger as the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) gets ready to open yet another giant hall.

Considering the massive 175,000 people that were easily accommodated during the CES 2019 would make it really surprising as to how much more the Convention center would be and the need to transport such large amount of people to and fro the place will definitely be expensive.
And of course, this is Technology right? The CES is supposed to showcase the future of tech and how that will enhance our daily lives in the near-future. If the Boring Company can bring the HyperLoops to life by 2021, then like I’ve predicted, this decade will be met with tons of inventions and don’t forget about the Cybertruck still coming on pretty soon by 2021.
