It would have taken until late January 2020 before Tesla is able to make it’s first delivery but the permit allowed the company to quickly round up it’s first delivery of the China made Model 3. The company had been trying to make the Model 3 it’s flagship as it pushes it into more market aiming to sell it’s electric cars worldwide.
What’s even more interesting is how great this would be for reusable energy as well as clean energy. The introduction of Tesla in the Chinese automobile market will pave way for more customer experience and better supply chain within the region and beyond.
“I always believe that having a good product that really gets the consumer interested and expands the overall market is good for the industry,” Gu said.
As of now, Tesla has 24 stores in China based upon listing on the company’s website but plan to expand this increases as the company doubles it’s maintenance shops to 63 from just 29 as well as adding 100 more fast-charging stations and turn some showrooms in the country into one-stop-shop Tesla Centers.

Two Tesla Model 3 variants were included in the list of new electric vehicle incentives released by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, giving consumers at least $3,550 of savings when they purchase the locally-produced Model 3.
Even the company had opened a Weibo account according to Tesla China. This is to better serve the Chinese customers so they can be able to communicate with the management directly through the popular Chinese social network.
